چکیده
Objectives: In the present study, it is aimed to investigate prevalence of thyroid dysfunction and blood glucose parameters their correlation in Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) obese patients. Methods: The study was a cross-sectional observational conducted for period 1 year January 2020–January 2022. patient demographic data, age, gender were collected from medical records. After an overnight fast, venous samples morning laboratory tests. Electrochemiluminescence immunoassays used assess serum free T3 (FT3), FT4, stimulating hormone (TSH). Fasting glucose, postprandial random sugar levels measured using enzymatic method. Body mass index (BMI) calculated as weight (kg) divided by squared height (m). Results: mean values harmones T3, T4 between non-obese individuals showed that no much significant variations might be due low sample size. However, TSH significantly higher 8.7ng/dl than individuals. There positive identified T2DM On other hand, there influence sugar, hemoglobin A1C, BMI patients insignificant T4. results also highly THS Conclusion: findings investigation high function, mainly levels, diabetes, particularly persons.

Correlation between Glycated Hemoglobin, Serum Glucose and Serum Lipid Levels in Type 2 Diabetes
Abstract Objective: Diabetes mellitus is the most common metabolic disease. One of the most common problems in diabetic patients is atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease which is induced by hyperlipidemia. Impaired lipid metabolism resulting from uncontrolled hyperglycemia has been implicated in cardiovascular complications in diabetic patients. Also, glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) has been rega...

OBJECTIVE: Diabetes mellitus and thyroid disease are the two common endocrinopathies seen in adult population. Studies to evaluate thyroid disorders in patients with type 2 diabetes are lacking. The aim of this study was to compare prevalence of thyroid dysfunction and autoim-munity in type 2 diabetic patients with age and sex matched non-diabetic control group. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Among pat...
متن کاملCorrelation between Diastolic Function and Endothelial Function in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes and Hypertension
BACKGROUND Endothelial dysfunction may be involved in the pathophysiology of cardiac abnormalities in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM). A correlation between endothelial dysfunction and diastolic dysfunction in patients with type 1 DM has been demonstrated, but this relationship has not been well investigated in type 2 DM. OBJECTIVE Compare groups of patients with type 2 DM and hypertensi...

Methods All the patients were newly diagnosed with T2DM. 201 patients with thyroid nodule disease and 308 patients without the nodular thyroid disease. The participants were evaluated by relevant examination....
متن کاملCommon Variations in Perilipin rs1052700 and FTO rs3751812 Genes, Central Obesity, and Risk Type-2 Diabetes
Background: Perilipins are proteins at the external level of the lipid glob in adipocytes steroid-generating cells and play a central role in lipid storage and breakdown. FTO gene is associated with Type-2 diabetes (T2D) and increased fat mass. Association of Perilipin and FTO genes polymorphism with T2D was investigated. Methods: Clinical traits in a random sample of 183 Iranian men and wom...
